Ready to take your lettering to the next level? This intermediate workshop is designed for students who have completed an intro to brush lettering and are ready to refine their skills. We’ll revisit core techniques to strengthen your foundation, then dive deeper into blending, dynamic flourishes, and thoughtful embellishments that bring your work to life. You’ll leave with more confidence, control, and a toolkit of techniques to create polished, expressive designs.

- —Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time.
- —If you are more than 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class.
- —You may cancel for a refund up to 15 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable.
- —We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund.
- —Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.
About the Teacher
Shannon Courter
Shannon is a passionate calligrapher, watercolor artist, and graphic designer who has been creating art since she could hold a pencil. As a proud graduate of the University of Michigan’s art school, she’s always had a love for bringing unique, personal touches to her work. She believes that personalization instantly makes an item special and making a handmade card is an act of love. When she’s not immersed in art, you’ll find her spending time with her adorable corgi, Piper, or jamming out to Fleetwood Mac. She’s excited to share her love for typography with students and help them explore their own creative journeys!
