Learn to make a beautiful wood pendant of your own design! This 3-hour workshop will teach you the basics of working with wood and hypoallergenic sterling silver wire using handheld tools including fret saws, bench pins, and pliers. You will begin by sketching designs for a hardwood pendant, then use handsaws and pin vise drills to cut out your design. After sanding to a smooth finish, you will learn to add jump rings, pinch bails, and beads using the eye pin method. Finally, you will finish your pendant with all-natural vegan wood oil and wax. The instructor will guide you through the entire process with one-on-one feedback and support. You will leave this workshop understanding the basics to practice small scale woodworking and wire wrapping at home, and with a beautiful pendant you can wear on a necklace, hang in your home, or use as a holiday ornament. No experience necessary. Optional for purchase: 18" sterling silver necklace chain ($15)
